Expert and passionate about illustration and design of prints, Paula Pappenheim has an important experience in the world of design, studied Fine Arts at the Complutense University of Madrid and Graphic Design at the Pratt Institute, New York, and specialized after with a Master in Design of prints for Textile and Surfaces, in the IED of Madrid.
In 2006, Pappenpop founded the laboratory where all his illustrations are born that he uses for all kinds of home textiles, wallpaper, rugs, fashion and accessories, packaging, fragrances, perfumes, porcelain and endless everyday objects.
Her link with the world of interior design and decoration is present in her collection of Ornate rugs born from the admiration and passion of the illustrator for classical Persian rugs, but also from her desire to transform those sumptuous compositions, with her palatial graphics , in something softer and calmer. Completely handmade, they have been knotted by hand using materials such as wool and viscose.
The illustrations of Paula, have been protagonists of important projects in the world of fashion, at the highest level parading on the catwalk in New York with the clothes of Custo Barcelona, and design, for design studio by Marcel Wanders, in Amsterdam .
