Mas-aqui

Mas-aqui arquitectura & interiorismo is a Barcelona studio founded by the Japanese architect Masaaki Higashi, graduated in architecture from the National University of Hiroshima and the Minorcan artist Esther Mir, who studied, among other art schools, at the prestigious Parsons school in New York .

The studio offers architecture, interior design and design services, with the original stamp of a balanced dialogue between cultures and disciplines. Its sensitivity and environmental responsibility translate into a simultaneous treatment of space, lighting, ventilation and comfort, inseparable elements in the success of each project. Their exquisite mastery of light allows them to handle it at will to create environments and emotions: Architecture with artistic sensitivity, art with architectural brushstrokes.

It is in this last section, that of art and design, in which, thanks to DACRUGS, they are launched into the field of “product” carrying out the design of two rugs, in which the “reflection” called “HANSHA” in Japanese, will be the inspiration and the protagonist of them, represented by transversal lines at an uneven rhythm, drawn with the perfection of the architectural plans, which at the same time will transport us with our bare feet, on the colors of moss and earth, to the landscapes of Japanese nature …
