Our creations are handcrafted by artisans in India, Nepal, Turkey, and Morocco, using ancient techniques and the finest materials and wools, such as New Zealand wool or Bikaner wool from India.
Our customers can fully trust that the piece they purchase has been produced responsibly, with sustainable and renewable natural fibers and with the highest quality standards, following rigorous quality controls at source and throughout the entire process, right up to the moment of delivery.

How we do our rugs

The artisanal way of working, combined with the quality control carried out in the factories, makes our rugs unique pieces.

Our rugs are handcrafted in countries such as India, Nepal, and Türkiye. For us, the respect and working conditions of the workers as well as the non-use of child labour are of the utmost importance and that is why we rely on the supervision and support provided by NGOs such as Good Weave and others.

The rugs are made using different techniques: hand knotted, hand woven, hand tufted and hand loomed. They are all manual techniques using wool, silk, viscose and all kinds of natural materials, dyed by hand in ancient vessels heated with firewood.

It is also interesting to know that a Master of Colour has to study for 4 or 5 years to be able to exercise this valuable profession and that most of our yarns are hand-spun, although in some cases they are also machine-spun.
